Competitive Drive had a monumental weekend! The first player from Competitive Drive to play in a grant-funded tournament, Kris Stiles, won the Future Champions Golf Memorial Day Championship! Not only did he win, but he won by 8 strokes, shooting 74-76 at PGA West – Greg Norman Course. See the results and more information on the event here.
Kris Stiles is a dedicated 11 year old junior golfer committed to doing well in his life through playing competitive golf. This is Kris’s second win in the past two weekends, coming off a big win at the U.S. Kids Local Tour Spring Season Championship, where he finished at one under and beating the field by 13 strokes! Keep it up Kris, you are playing some great golf and we could not be more proud of you.
This past weekend also provided an opportunity for Gabriel to spend some time with some of the other juniors we work with up in San Francisco. Check out our Instagram and Twitter for pictures from his practice session with everyone!
Funds we raise through Competitive Drive go to provide grants for golfers like Kris to be able to play tournament golf at the local, regional and national levels. Want to see how you can show your support for Competitive Drive? Read more about Getting Involved.
