Volunteering with Competitive Drive
Do you have a passion for helping junior golfers achieve their potential? In the coming months Competitive Drive will be creating a volunteer application. You don’t have to be an excellent golfer to get involved with Competitive Drive. Rather, we are looking for talented volunteers who can share wisdom and instill confidence in our junior golfers.
Currently, all of our efforts are in the Bay Area. We will be continuing to grow and expand into new areas as we move forward. Get notified of new volunteer opportunities in your area by clicking here to sign up for the Competitive Drive Newsletter
Competitive Drive will have volunteer opportunities available for the following activities:
As a Competitive Drive Mentor, you will be working with our junior golfers to help them establish great practice habits, focus, and to provide the support to help our juniors develop into well-rounded young adults.
The average local junior tournament costs around $100 plus travel expenses. As juniors get more tournament experience, the entry fees for the regional and national tournaments get even steeper. Some tournament entry fees at the regional and national level can be between $300 and $500 dollars.
Help support a junior today with a direct donation or get a group of supporters together to put together a fundraising campaign. We look to provide support of a minimum of one year of tournaments to each junior. That can add up to well over $1,000 for tournaments just at the local level.
Competitive Drive is looking for people to help us spread the word about our organization. We’re looking for volunteers to help us find qualified junior golfers to participate in the program. We’re also looking for volunteers to help us grow the organization so we can extend our reach.
