By playing in competitive situations, athletes can gain the experience and lessons that will lead to greater success both on and off the playing field.

Mission Statement

Competitive Drive’s goal is to help disadvantaged junior golfers achieve their potential by playing in competitive environments on a regular basis.  There are several junior golf programs that provide youth the opportunity to play golf; however, Competitive Drive’s vision is to provide these golfers with the tools to achieve success at the next level.  We envision Competitive Drive preparing junior golfers for local, regional and national tournaments through continuous coaching and mentoring, and by providing the financial support that these golfers need to be able to focus on their game.

Providing Support to Reach the Top

Nationwide, competitive junior golf is well established. However, not every junior golfer can afford to pay the substantial costs such as entry fees to travel costs. Competitive Drive assists junior golfers who are otherwise unable to afford the steep cost of junior golf by assisting with these aforementioned costs, in accordance with NCAA and USGA rules.

The Importance of Playing in a Competitive Environment

By playing competitively, a new mental challenge is faced. It teaches young athletes to deal with intense pressure, overcome obstacles, and create lifelong friendships with their competitors. It also provides junior athletes to showcase their talents on a regional and national level to college coaches, thus enabling them to compete for scholarships and take that crucial next step.
